Rita D. Cauvin(nee Tavoletti), age 88, of Philadelphia and formerly of Glenside died on July 23, 2010. She was the devoted wife of the late Andrew C. Cauvin, the loving mother of Vincent A. Cauvin, the late Andrew C. Cauvin, Jr. and the late Gabrielle R. Cauvin, the proud grandmother of Corinne Ambler and Colin Ambler and the dear mother-in-law of Verna C. Cauvin and Jenny Cauvin. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM, Baron Rowland Funeral Home, 1059 Old York Road, Abington. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 28, 2010, St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 2316 Fairhill Road (at Easton Road) Glenside, PA 19038, where friends will be received from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Shrine of the Miraculous Medal, 475 E. Chelten Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19144.
